If you've just closed a seed round and need a site that won't embarrass you in front of investors, you're running an SME whose website hasn't been touched since 2019, or you're an agency that needs a development partner for overflow client work, this page is for you.
Eqvanto is a web development company that handles the whole build: not just a Figma file handed off with a shrug, and not just a WordPress theme dropped in and called finished.
We plan the site, build it, test it across devices, and launch it, then hand it off with the analytics and search tools already wired in.
We work with startups and small businesses across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and the UAE, delivered by an India-based team, which is how we keep project pricing well under typical Western agency rates without cutting scope.
What's Included
"Included" means something specific here, not a vague promise. Every web development project covers:
- A discovery call to map goals, audience, and must-have pages before anything gets designed
- Sitemap and wireframes so the structure is agreed on before pixels get spent
- Responsive, mobile-first design and build (not a desktop site that "also works" on phones)
- CMS setup (WordPress or Webflow) or hand-coded front-end, depending on what the project actually needs
- Contact forms, booking tools, CRM or email-marketing integrations (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Calendly, and similar)
- On-page SEO basics: title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, image alt text, and a submitted sitemap
- Google Analytics (GA4) and Search Console setup so you can see traffic from day one
- Cross-browser and cross-device QA before launch, not after a client complains
- SSL, basic hosting configuration, and a 30-day post-launch support window for fixes
What's not included by default: ongoing content writing, paid ad management, and e-commerce builds. That last one has its own dedicated service, because Shopify and WooCommerce projects need a different process and pricing model entirely.
Platforms We Build On
We don't push one platform because it's what we know. Each one below solves a different problem, and part of our job in the discovery call is telling you honestly which one fits.
WordPress
WordPress is the right call when you need a marketing site or SME site that your own team will keep updating after launch: new blog posts, new service pages, the occasional new team member. As a wordpress development agency, we build on a lean theme (custom or lightly customized, never a bloated page-builder demo you'll fight for a year), configure caching and image optimization from the start, and hand over an admin panel that's actually organized, not fifteen unlabeled custom fields.
Webflow
Webflow suits founders and marketing teams who want direct, visual control over the site after handoff without touching code, and who value fast page loads out of the box. As a webflow development agency, we use it for landing pages, product marketing sites, and any project where the team wants to run their own A/B tests and campaign pages without opening a ticket with us every time.
Custom-Coded Sites
When a site needs something a CMS can't do cleanly, such as a complex configurator, tight integration with an app or API, or performance requirements a template can't hit, we build it hand-coded, typically in React or Next.js. This is also the right path when the "website" is really the front door to a product, and it needs to share components with the app itself.

Our Web Development Process
-
01
Discovery Call
We ask about your business, your audience, competitors you like and don't, and what "done" looks like.
-
02
Sitemap and Wireframes
Low-fidelity structure first, so we're not redesigning full pages later because the flow was wrong.
-
03
Design
Full visual design, usually building on the wireframes with input from our UI/UX design work when the project calls for a dedicated design pass.
-
04
Build
Development on the chosen platform, with staging links shared as sections come together, so you're not waiting until the end to see anything.
-
05
QA
Cross-browser, cross-device, and forms/integrations testing, plus a speed pass.
-
06
Launch
DNS cutover, SSL, redirects if this replaces an existing site, and analytics verification.
-
07
Optional SEO Handoff
For clients moving into ongoing organic growth, we hand the site to our SEO services team with the technical groundwork already in place.
Speed and mobile usability aren't add-ons in this process. They're baseline requirements we build to from the first commit. Google's Core Web Vitals benchmarks (loading, interactivity, visual stability) are part of our QA checklist on every project, not a separate line item you pay extra for. A 2026 site that fails these on mobile is losing visitors and rankings before a single sales pitch runs.
Pricing
Small business website design and development at Eqvanto runs $800–$8,000, depending on:
- Page count and content complexity (a 5-page brochure site vs. a 20-page site with resources, careers, and case studies)
- Custom design work vs. a well-executed template or theme
- Number and complexity of integrations (a booking calendar is simple; a custom CRM sync is not)
- Whether we're migrating existing content or starting from scratch
- Multilingual requirements or accessibility auditing beyond WCAG basics
Most SME marketing sites land in the $1,500–$4,000 range. Custom-coded builds and larger startup sites with more pages and integrations sit toward the top of the range.
If you're also planning a product build rather than just a marketing site, our SaaS and startups page covers how we scope that differently, and our pricing packages page lays out bundled options across services.
Related Case Studies
We're a newly launched agency, which we'd rather tell you upfront than pretend otherwise with recycled stock testimonials. Our case studies page is where we publish real project write-ups (scope, decisions, and outcomes) as projects complete. Check back there, or ask us directly for references from current work in progress.
