App Development & SEO for Fintech & Proptech Startups — Eqvanto

We work with early-stage fintech and proptech founders (pre-seed through Series A, mostly), building the first real version of a product, not enterprise financial institutions running core banking infrastructure or regulated depository products.

If you're a bank, a licensed lender operating at scale, or an enterprise looking for a systems integrator, we're not the right fintech app development company for that job, and we'd rather say so upfront than take a project we're not built for.

If you're a founder building a budgeting app, an embedded-finance product, a proptech marketplace, or a property management platform and need a technical partner who can move at startup speed, that's exactly where we work.

Why Fintech & Proptech Founders Work With Us

Early-stage fintech and proptech share a pattern: the product needs real financial or transactional logic from day one, but the company doesn't yet have the compliance infrastructure of a bigger institution.

We build to whatever regulatory and data-handling spec your legal and compliance advisors set: KYC/AML flow requirements, PCI-DSS scope for anything touching card data, state-by-state lending or real-estate licensing considerations for proptech. We build it correctly and document it clearly.

What we don't do is act as your compliance or legal counsel, or claim certification we don't hold. Any agency promising to make you "fully compliant" without involving a qualified compliance attorney is telling you something that isn't really true. We coordinate technical implementation around your counsel's requirements; we don't replace them.

That distinction is exactly why we scope tightly to early-stage: a startup building an MVP needs an engineering partner who understands transactional data models, ledger accuracy, and integration with providers like Plaid, Stripe, or a KYC vendor like Persona or Alloy.

A regulated bank needs a compliance-certified systems integrator with a very different scope of work and liability profile, and that's a different job than the one we do.

We're new, without past fintech or proptech clients to reference, and we won't invent case studies to suggest otherwise.

What we bring instead is direct engineering access, transparency about our stack (typically Next.js or React front ends, a Postgres-backed ledger-aware back end, and integrations scoped to exactly the financial or property-data providers your product needs), and pricing shaped by where we operate: well under the $100–$149 an hour typical of Western fintech dev shops, without routing you through an anonymous outsourced team.

That also means being clear about what we don't do: we're not going to sell you a SOC 2 report we haven't earned or promise a bank-grade security audit we haven't run. Where your product needs third-party security or compliance audits, we'll say so early enough to fold that timeline into your roadmap rather than discover it during due diligence.

Services for Fintech & Proptech Startups

MVP and Product Development

Through our custom software and MVP development services, we build embedded-finance products, budgeting and lending-adjacent apps, proptech marketplaces, and property management or real-estate transaction platforms scoped to get a real, testable product in front of users or your first institutional partner.

Integrations

Plaid and open-banking connections, payment processing via Stripe or similar providers, KYC/AML vendor integrations, and, for proptech software development work, MLS data feeds, property management system integrations, and document workflows for lease or transaction handling.

Architecture Built to Your Compliance Spec

We design data models, encryption, audit logging, and access control to the requirements your compliance counsel defines, and document the implementation for their review. This is technical build support, not legal or regulatory certification.

SEO for Fintech and Proptech

Our SEO services target the searches your actual buyers run: often comparison and category terms such as "best [tool] for landlords" or "[competitor] alternative" for a fintech product, which is where early-stage fintech and proptech organic traffic tends to concentrate, alongside the technical SEO fundamentals a growing product marketing site needs.

Related Case Studies

We haven't completed a fintech or proptech project yet, so there's nothing genuine to show here, and we're not going to invent one. As real projects wrap, we'll add them to our case studies page. Until then, ask us directly about the architecture and integration decisions we'd make for your specific product.
